The Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center of Massachusetts and the Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts will host an exhibition and auction celebrating Haitian metal art on Sun., Sept. 27, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the TLCC, 131 Beverly St., Boston. The event will honor master artist Fontenel Pointjour, a distinguished member of HAAM, and will feature rare works by Gabriel Bien-Aimé and other Haitian master sculptors. The evening will showcase the tradition of hand-hammered Haitian metal sculpture and give guests an opportunity to purchase works while supporting the cultural center.
