About 1 in 4 people develop mental health problems after a traumatic event; many have symptoms months or even years later. A free training for the Somerville and Boston-area Haitian community will be offered this spring. Trainer Patty Contente of the Somerville Health Department will be joined by Josee Chrispin of the Somerville Haitian Coalition at the Training is in English, with some Haitian Creole translation as needed.
