Partners in Health issues call for supplies, volunteers in Boston & Haiti

Partners in Health, the Boston-based organization that has thousands of medical personnel and volunteers on the ground in Haiti right now, has put out the call today for volunteers and supplies that they say are urgently needed both in Haiti and in Boston. Read their latest update here.

Volunteers in Boston
In response to the earthquake in Haiti, Partners In Health is in need of additional support for our relief efforts. We are looking for volunteers who are prepared to assist PIH staff with emergency support in the Boston office.
Responsibilities: The volunteer will provide administrative and logistical support. The volunteer will be assisting wherever needed, which may include communication with donors, assist with processing donations and data entry, coordinate travel plans, schedule meetings, provide communications assistance and other tasks as needed. This is a fulltime volunteer position.
Qualifications:
Have demonstrated experience providing administrative support in an office setting.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong writing, communication and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to switch tasks easily.
Flexibility is necessary.
Interest in social justice.
